Shana Sanchez (she/her), LCSW
Shana is the Clinical Director at Greywood Health Center. Shana is an social worker and mental health therapist that specializes in working with young people and their families. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who utilizes psychotherapy to address trauma and stressor related symptoms, anxiety, emotional regulation and behavioral concerns. She works from an attachment and strengths based approach, emphasizing healing through relationship and connection.
Shana received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis and Master’s degree from the University of Chicago Social Services Administration Program. She is has received her Foundational Theraplay Practitioner Certification and is working towards her Registered Play Therapist Credential.
Shana has worked in a variety of contexts and levels of care- inpatient, PHP, IOP, and outpatient. She has considerable experience in both clinical and case management capacity. Shana’s work focuses on harnessing client’s strengths and working towards empowerment in order to create meaningful change. Shana partners with clients and their families to navigate life transitions, trauma, identity formation and relationships.
