COVID-19 Infection Control Guidelines and Procedures

Your safety is our top priority. We have added new
precautions to minimize the risk of COVID-19
transmission.

Daily Screenings

  • Upon arrival, all clients, visitors and staff members will be screened for possible COVID-19 exposure and symptoms
  • Individuals who do not meet screening criteria will be sent home; further instruction on what to do will be provided
  • Hand sanitizer and extra masks will be available at the screening checkpoint, inside the building lobby

Face Coverings

  • Masks are optional for all clients, visitors and staff
  • Masks should fit comfortably around the face, covering the nose and mouth area
  • Masks can be removed for eating and drinking; see below for hand hygiene guidelines

Hand Hygiene

  • Hands can be sanitized with soap and warm water or hand sanitizer (minimum of 20 seconds with either method)
  • Disinfect hands frequently throughout the day, especially after touching common surfaces and before touching your face
  • Disinfect hands prior to removing your mask for eating and drinking; disinfect again before putting the mask back on

Enhanced Disinfecting

  • We have instituted increased cleaning and sanitizing protocols at our center
  • All common areas and offices are being cleaned and sanitized regularly throughout the day by trained personnel
  • After hours, a professional crew performs deep cleaning
  • Cleanings supplies, disinfectant wipes, gloves, masks and hand sanitizer are available in each office for staff, clients and visitors to use as needed

Symptom Awareness

  • Clients and staff members are asked stay home if they are feeling ill or have any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, chills, or muscle aches
  • If symptoms appear while you are at the center, we ask that you immediately notify your group therapist or program director so that you could be isolated and safely sent home
